About

Lambhill & District Community Council is a voluntary organisation set up by statute. It exists to represent and promote the interests of the people who live in the Council’s area. We are entitled to be consulted on issues by both local and central government.
As a statutory body the Community Council sees all planning applications relating to the area and can, if necessary, lodge objections.  We can also make representations on behalf of the community, not only to Glasgow City Council but also to other public bodies such as the Scottish Government, the Health Board, and to private businesses such as gas and electricity companies.
City Councillors and the local community police attend our meetings, and give reports. Also, we will usually have a guest speaker to give a presentation, and to answer questions from the public.

Please contact us on any matter of concern (see contacts page) and we will do our best to help. You are also very welcome to come along to our regular meetings, held in St Agnes church hall.
