Permaculture - solutions inspired by nature
| Lambhill Community Council ran a Permaculture cource to kick-start the first stage in designing the community garden at the Stables Building site. The workshop was delivered by Jeff Forrest from “Sustainable Designs” who instructed everyone on the fine points of permaculture and how to make best use of the areas natural features and resources. |

| Jeff has created a “Fedge” which is a cross between a fence and a hedge to mark the boundary of the garden site. The fedge is made with live growing willow, woven into an arch in some areas to let children walk though. Jeff was helped by young people from St. Joan Of Arc secondary school who have been involved with the project from the start. | |
